Soleiha B. Mahrcell’s journey
throughout the years has been to gain clarity from ancient to
contemporary spiritual masters to better understand the timelessness
and essence of Love. She began her creative writings in high school for sweethearts
who wanted poems to commemorate their relationship. It is Soleiha's heart felt desire to convey a simple yet profound
memory for the day of celebration by creating soul-filled writings that
are uniquely tailored for each and every couple.

Commissioner Nomi Whalen’s assistant for over a decade and has worked
with hundreds of couples to facilitate their special day.

former High School teacher, a former member of Calgary’s City Council, a
charter member of Alberta’s Human Rights Commission and a recipient of
many commendations and community awards. A continuing involvement with
her community along with her many weddings has given her a well known
public persona. She was married to much – loved Calgary broadcaster, Ed
Whalen, and is mother of five children and nine grandchildren. Marrying
people is her passion and her many happy couples testify to that with
great enthusiasm.
